Pink Pearl Yoni Steaming Instructions
You will need:
- Pink Pearl Yoni Steam Blend of choice (1 ounce/bag)
- 8 cups of water (per ounce/steam)
- Pot with a lid
- Bowl, Pot or other heat-safe container
- Throne (a comfortable chair with a hole in the seat, which you can set a bowl of hot liquid under)
- Warm Socks
- Knitted Hat or other head cover
- Large blanket
- Optional: soothing music, favorite book, candles, pen and paper, herbal tea for drinking
Ready to Steam:
Bring 8 cups of water to a soft boil over medium heat. Add 1 ounce (bag) of Pink Pearl Yoni herbs to the boiling water and cover the pot with a top. Continue to boil for an additional 7 minutes. Ensure not to over boil. Take the pot off of the heat and allow herbs to steep for an extra 5 minutes. (Note: May leave herbs in or take them out of the steam safe bag)
***Take this time to set up your space. Put on some soothing music if you choose or grab a book to read. You may also want to keep a pen and paper nearby to jot down any inspirational thoughts that you may have while connecting with your womb during this sacred moment. Light a candle or two if you prefer for added relaxation.
After steeping, pour your Pink Pearl yoni tea into the bowl that you will use for steaming. Test the temperature by placing your hand over the rising steam. If it is too hot, let the steam cool until it reaches a level of heat that is comfortable for you. You are now ready to steam. Put on your socks, hat and disrobe from the waist down. Find a comfortable position on top of your throne (it’s ok if your legs are open). Wrap your blanket around the lower half of your body and the throne. Make sure that the blanket is big enough to cover your body and your throne, to ensure that no steam escapes. (IF THE STEAM IS STILL TOO HOT, GET UP AND MOVE AWAY! This process should be pleasant, not painful.)
While atop your throne, take a few deep breaths to start your relaxation process. Breathe in health and prosperity over any areas in your life that need it, and breathe out sickness and doubt; Ease your mind (If it helps you may also drink an herbal tea like Chamomile or Lavender for added relaxation). Allow the steam to permeate your yoni (vagina) for 20-40 minutes until you can no longer feel the steam.
Once the steam is finished rising, discard the tea and herbs. Make sure that you remain covered, then go to a warm bed and lie down for 60 minutes. It is essential that you keep yourself covered. Sweating is normal as the benefits from your steam continue to work to detox your body. (Lying down is optional but recommended for best results. Especially while using our OH Baby! blend)
After lying down for 60 minutes (again, optional), your yoni steam session is complete. Repeat this process up to 2-3 times monthly, before and after your menstrual cycle if applicable. Check out each blend for specific steaming frequency recommendations, according to blend.
NOTE: Everyone’s experiences will vary after steaming. A slight tingling sensation in the vaginal area is healthy and is merely the steam at work. Some people have reported feeling intense arousal almost immediately following a session. Also, note that your menstruation may make an appearance as a part of the detoxing period. Again, this is normal and nothing to cause alarm. After this, your next menstrual cycle may appear lighter and be less painful. ***FOR OUR HAPPY FEET BLEND: FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS FOR BOILING HERBS AND PLACE LIQUID IN A HEAT SAFE CONTAINER THAT YOU WILL USE TO SOAK YOUR FEET. ALLOW LIQUID TO COOL TO A COMFORTABLE TEMPERATURE AND SOAK FEET FOR UP TO 30 MINUTES.
